Welcome to

Decatur house of prayer

who we are

We are a praying community of believers, committed to pursuing intimacy with the Lord through worship, prayer and the Word of God. We are committed to establishing night & day intercessory worship in Decatur, fulfill the Great Commission and prepare the body of Christ for the Lord’s return.

Decatur House of Prayer is not a church. Here we focus on ministering to the Lord through prayer & worship, declaring His Word so that our world is changed & His Kingdom is advanced, and serving others so that they may experience the Lord.

We do this through live sets of prayer & worship.

During Worship with the Word sets we declare the Word of God through reading His word, and then singing that Word back. This type of sing/praying the Word out changes the atmosphere and advances His Kingdom in our world.

During devotional sets the Worship Leader can choose to just worship & minister to the Lord, read the Word, and/or pray. Devotional sets are typically smaller teams or even just one. These sets are great times to come and just soak in the Presence of the Lord in the Prayer Room!

During Prophetic sets we worship together and focus on declaring the prophetic Word of the Lord over certain people or places. We do this through singing & declaring oracles & making choruses. This time in the Prayer Room is so edifying!

During Intercession sets we focus on praying for others in need. You can see all of our prayer focuses Here. The Body of Christ comes together in corporate worship and agreement in prayer to change the world and advance His Kingdom.
